Introducing Pam...
A Unique Philosophy
Hello, welcome, I’m Pam. If we were meeting I’d offer you a cuppa and a comfy seat, but I’ll assume you have these in hand!
I’m married to Alan and we live in Worcestershire with our two young children; Michael, Olivia and our mad mutt Maisie. We’re often found marching through the woods (hollering after mad mutt) or huddled round a table enjoying good food and chat; we’re simple beings really!
Until very recently I would have told you I’m a Nurse - and proud to be. A career spanning across Intensive care, Renal and – my professional home - Palliative (hospice) Care. I have adored that work: a window into another’s life, a truly insightful and inspirational journey alongside many magnificent patients, families and colleagues.
But on moving to beautiful Worcestershire in 2014 I had the chance to pursue my long-held passion of Nutrition. Studying Nutritional Therapy at the University of Worcester afforded me the opportunity to deep dive into this fascinating field and link the science with the psychology. I had no idea of the scope of Nutrition and health coaching and my mission is to reach as many people as possible; and give them the chance to re-write their next health life-chapter.
I have been on my own journey with health issues that include gut, thyroid and auto-immune issues (yup, the shorn head is alopecia rather than a fashion choice!). I have made significant changes, and progress and continue to learn and grow in health. As such, I’m a realist and understand only too well some of the pit-falls my clients may face; I know can be a lonely old road and I’d love to keep you company as you travel.
